These are the new spells that were found in this spellbook.

Create Magic Tattoo

2nd Level Conjuration (Ritual)

Casting Time: 10 minutes
Range: Touch
Components: V,S,M (Tattoo kit and inks)
Duration: 10 days

Create magic tattoo creates a single magic tattoo. The caster determines the exact type of tattoo, though the selection of possible tattoos is limited by caster level. A single creature can have only three magic tattoos at a time. Once a creature has three magic tattoos operating, any additional magic tattoos fail. The tattoo is permanent, but the magic only lasts 10 days. After 10 days, the tattoos remain, and can be recast with the same tattoo.

A successful erase spell removes a single magic tattoo. A successful dispel magic spell can remove multiple magic tattoos if targeted on the creature bearing the tattoos.

This spell requires tattoo inks and a magical tattoo kit worth 50 gp. Each tattoo requires a Dexterity check (plus proficiency if proficient with a tattoo kit.)

A caster of 3rd to 6th level can inscribe the following tattoos (DC 10):

  • +2 resistance bonus on one type of saving throw.
  • +1 bonus on attack rolls.
  • +1 bonus to AC.

A caster of 7th to 12th levels can inscribe the lower-level tattoos, plus the following (DC 15):

  • +2 bonus on all saving throws.
  • +2 bonus on attack rolls.
  • The ability to recall 1st-level, or 2nd-level spell (just as though the subject were using a pearl of power). The caster chooses the spell level.

It may be possible to learn other enhancements to apply.

Corpselight

1st Level Necromancy (Ritual)

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Components: V,S,M (a corpse, a pinch of saltpeter, and a piece of a glowworm or a speck of phosphorus.)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

You imbue the dead with magical energy, causing all corpses within range to emit dim or bright light in a color of your choice. You can use your action to change the intensity or color of the light from one or all corpses thatyou can see or to cancel the spell. The light in no way hinders the corpse if it is ani-mated. Only bones and flesh are affected by this spell: wood, incorporeal undead, and living creatures are not affected.

Ironguts

1st level Abjuration

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V,S,M (A vial containing the diluted poison of four different creatures)
Duration: 1 hour

You enable a creature to better fight off the effect of poison. The subject is filled with antitoxin and gains a +5 bonus on Constitution saves against all kinds of poisons, whether injury, contact, ingestion, or inhalation. After the spell ends, the subject is nauseated for 1 round.

Locate Remains

1st-level divination (ritual)

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Components: V, S, M (a piece of bone)
Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

For the duration, you can sense the presence and location of corpses and bones within 30 feet of you. If you spend your action, you can determine if any of the remains are undead. Alternately, you can cast this spell to seek out a specific individual if you have a piece of their corpse or a personal item of theirs. When you cast the spell in this way, you detect only their remains but the range extends to 1000 feet.The spell can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 2 feet of stone, 2 inches of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 6 feet of wood or dirt.

Orieoth’s Revenance

3rd Level Necromancy

Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: 15 feet
Components: V,S,M (a flake of ash, a pinch of dust, and a drop of blood)
Duration: Instantaneous

By means of this spell the necromancer can enhance the internal willpower of undead creatures making them immune to turning attempts. Once a successful turning attempt is blunted by this spell, the spell is no longer in effect for that particular undead and it can be turned normally.

Bio:

Oreioth was a Necromancer, a Red Wizard, and a cultist of Tharizdun. He was defeated at Lance Rock, where this spellbook was recovered.
